Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She grew up within Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and received her first big break in acting. Pernas was a guest on a couple of episodes on NCIS and Leverage, before securing the part of Marisa for The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in the year 2016, she landed the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared in The Brave, The Green Ghost, and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas is dating her former The Young and the Restless co-star Justin Hartley. The relationship began just after The This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November of 2019. Pernas Hartley along with Pernas Hartley were secretly married at a private ceremony, which broke out in 2021, May.
