Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a songwriter. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she produced as well as directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson is her sibling and a talented artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish as was her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to the Reform church in Alabama.
