Torrie (Torrie) Wilson was raised on a family farm in Boise Idaho. It is located in the middle of a typical crop of potatoes, corn, and wheat. Wilson was an aspiring fitness model before she joined the world of sports entertainment in late 1990s. The reason she entered the industry was a result of an WCW backstage tour with her boyfriend who was then ex-boyfriend. Scott Steiner invited her to join him in the ring. She stayed with the industry for over a decade. Wilson participated in WCW occasionally, was managing competitors like David Flair. Billy Kidman. The Filthy Aliens and Shane Douglas. Wilson became a member of WWE when the company purchased WCW in the spring of 2001. Her athleticism and penchant for entertainment made her a great choice for WWE at the time of one of the entertainment industry's biggest eras. Wilson's friendship with Stacy Keibler, a rival and friend at times which made her a pivotal character in the WCW's assault on WWE. After the invasion was put off, Wilson became a key female wrestler in WWE's women's division, engaging in memorable rivalries with the likes of Keibler, Sable and Melina. Family members were also in danger when she took on Dawn Marie for their honor.
