Kari Sam Wuhrer born April 28, 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. Her career began when she was a teenager. She is recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders as well as her role as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a car salesman. Her father was the eldest of her three siblings. As a teenager, she was a singer performing in clubs, sneaking away from home for the sake of performing. Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actress and model, was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on the 28th of April 1967. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April her birthplace, she was raised there. Her German-American father is a car dealer and police agent. Kari was born in a family with four children. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was in her teens. Kari would get away from home and perform. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher renowned as Uta. Kari started acting when she was in her teens, her first break on television coming from 1987's MTV Remote Control.
